Departments

The SELL administers software licenses that provide significant discounts to departments. Some licenses are open to departments without restrictions, while others have an annual open enrollment period. Some restrictions and differing pricing may be applied, depending on which campus or agency the department belongs.

Work-At-Home Rights

Some license agreements, such as with Microsoft, let Texas A&M extend rights to use software on a personally owned computer. If a department opts in to these licenses, eligible employees can purchase software at considerable discounts for home use at software.tamu.edu.

Other license agreements have work-at-home rights for employees that do not depend on departmental participation. These include Adobe, Endnote, McAfee, and others. Visit the individual software pages for detailed information.
